Dr. Louise Gladys Rummel RN, MNZM

RUMMEL, Dr Louise Gladys ( RN, MNZM) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on 21 August 2025. Louise was born 2 March 1937, a dedicated nurse and educator, she was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit for her exceptional service to nursing. Louise was an adored wife of the late Stuart and a loving mother to Simonne, Diana, and Matthew. She cherished her daughter-in-law Anna, son-in-law Rick, and her grandchildren Callum, Morgan, Cody, Francis, and Leo. Louise’s compassion, leadership, and unwavering dedication made a lasting impact on her family and community. Her legacy of kindness and excellence will forever inspire those who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday 25 August at 1pm at Northcross Community Church, 826a East Coast Rd Oteha Auckland.
