HILDER, Russen Thompson (Russ). 1930-2026. Passed away peacefully on 13 July 2026, aged 96 years. Much-loved husband of Diana; beloved father and father-in- law of Jude, Lesley and Grant, Neil and Monique. Adored grandfather of Jaimee-Leigh, Brie’Ellen, Cullen, Jake, Rochelle, Kurt, Joshua, and Marcus; and great- grandfather of Avery, Olive, and baby Manton. A cherished brother, uncle, and friend. A private cremation has been held, but a Celebration of his life will be held at Gulf Harbour Yacht Club, 1299 Laurie Southwick Parade Whangaparaoa, on Wednesday, 22 July 2026, at 1:30 pm.
